Here is a few snap shots of the studio. It's a Lomo wall.

Our Building

Mr Chris was looking at some pictures and came across this one of our street from 1906. You can see the comparison from the street view pic in the corner. Our building is the one with the poultry sign on. You can see a new street light on the new pic, that only went up about a year ago. It is very bright in Mr Paul's window at night.

Creamy and Crumbly

We recieved a misterious package in the post last week. In it contained this cheese and a note about an absent-minded inventor and his companion.
Well the cheese has gone now, omn nom nom. We will find out who the funny so and so is. Oh yes we will.

Moving Rooms

Here is a random picture of some of our computers. We are busy rearranging rooms at the moment so it is quite a mess. Don't they look nice all lined up!

Here is a picture of another of the CG rooms during production on Story Train. Two people missing from the seats! They did not in no way run off when I started to take photos, no sir.

Here is a photo of a wall in the little room used to build, fix models for when we did stop motion. A big loom of wire and some saws are all you need.

More studio now with added peeps

Here is another shot of a bit of the studio (we have several rooms and floors). This is one of the teams of animators for Driver Dan's Story Train. Mr Matt, Stefan, Will and Miss dani. Mr Owen is not in shot as he has had a baby.

Another Studio Photo

Here you can see lots of boxes. The ones on the right all contain the storyboards for Driver Dan's Story Train. There were 52 episodes and each episode was an average of 30 x A3 pages. All expertly drawn by Mr Phil and Mr Andy.

Much more studio

Here is a photo from one of the shelves in the back studio. Here you can see some early trees and bushes from Driver Dan's Story Train. These were made out of cardboard and paper to figure out how things would work before they are made in the computer.

Mr Pauls Room

Continuing the photo's from around the studio here is a pic of Mr Pauls collectables. If you see photo's from inside animation studios you always see a mass collection of merchandise and toys. Not a lot of that here as we never get anything for free (sad face). So we have to collect things by ourselves. So here is Mr Paul's shelf in his room. It is much more impressive than mine. (jealous face).

Pillows!

Here is a picture of where we are keeping the actual pillows for the title sequence for Driver Dan's Story Train. In the garage on top of the classic Volvo. These pillows have also been to Abu Dhabi for when the Arabic version of the show was filmed. Each one was made by Miss Rebecca. I helped on one of the pillows, I wanted to join in and Miss Rebecca let me.

Here is a shot of Mr Matt's desk. He is working away on a Tallulah scene for Driver Dan's Story Train. We are using 3Dstudio for this series.

Monday Indecisiveness

I was not sure what to post today, so here is a picture of an 'a' on one of our walls in the studio!
The cake is normally placed under this sign on the plan chest. We like those days.

Mr Wolf

Here is a picture of Mr Wolf. He stands by the entrance to our studio.

Here is a picture of a wall in the office. These are the episodes in various stages of production for Driver Dan's Story Train.
First is the episode production letters, then the script number, episode title, story title then the writers initials.
The lines indicate delivery (to the BBC) blocks. For example AW, AX, AY and BA were all delivered together. (AN, AO, AP had been delivered at the time the photo was taken).
This was before some of it was rewritten by Mr John with his incredible neat hand writing. If you look closely you can see an early version of Driver Dan.

A desk shot

Here is a pic of Pauls desk when he was thinking of ideas for the Prince's Rainforest Project. He has made a forest on his tablet. The closer shots are more convincing. I think he was working out possible shots and views. You can also see that he dribbles his tea!
