Here you go dani. A turtle playing the drums especially for you from Mr Phil. I did think to myself this morning when Phil gave this to me "He is playing the drums! Ok, how strange, I would never have thought about that". Then I read your request. mehehe

The Last T Shirt

This is a picture of one of the t-shirts made for promoting the pilot for a series called Shelf Life we did about 12 years ago. It's a bit faded. This is the last picture I have of a t shirt on my computer. There are others around but that would involve a great big Indiana Jones search and I don't want to get dusty. Today.

Techno Monster

Here is a still from the series of channel idents for the Business Channel we did for the advertising company Lambie Nairn a few years ago. The whole campaign won an award.
All the idents were directed by Mr Paul.

This is a still from some animated inserts we did for a national geographic program about the human body. Mr Duncan and Mr Paul worked on this.

Last Cartoon

Here is the last one of these I have which were saved by Mr Paul. It's funny because you (mostly) always end up missing a project when its all finished. I personally miss working on Albie as it was one of the last completely 2D traditional projects we worked on. I miss my lightbox. Well, a little bit.
These were all drawn by Mr Phil. He doesn't remember doing them btw.

Stress Relief

This little drawing (that is not tea stained, it got wet when Mr Pauls room flooded) is one of the many tit bits of scribbles that appear when an animator is probably on his (or her) 11th hour straight animating highly detailed drawn animation and just occasionally it's fun to get some frustration out on a little cartoon. This was drawn by Mr Phil, I think this stemmed from having to do some intricate animation whilst a character is wearing an elaborate pirate hat.

Madonna Characters

Here are some rough character animation frames from the Madonna video 'Dear Jessie' we worked on at the end of the 80's for Animation City. This was her last 80's single in fact.
We did the love parade characters above and the charcoal section where we fly through some make believe land. And some of the fairy.

Hi all. Here is a picture of the rough character drawings for a very small job we did a while ago. Then the finished characters in colour on the right. These were drawn and animated by Mr Phil.

Prof. Chicken

Here is a pencil frame from one of the Amazing Animals episodes. They were from the animated inserts for a live action kids wildlife program on the Disney Channel.
Here you can see the match lines in Red - So in clean up you had to make sure the lines matched those of the time machine he was sitting in (you couldn't just put him on a level below because his hands over lap the front of the windscreen).
The green line was to be clear that it is his coat. It just makes things a little clearer when passing on your work to an assistant or clean up artist. If you look closer you can see how the picture has been adjusted around the face area to make it better or animate right.

Aladdin Still

Hello. This is a still from Arnold Adlers cut out theatre from Dog and Duck. This was traditional 2D and layered in After effects.
It was quite weird as near the same time we also did an Aladdin special for OUP and you can see the character designs I posted for them earlier (click on the OUP link on the right)

Action Network

I managed to post up a picture today then. Thing is, I just finished editing a small reel of relevant clips for a perspective client and now I'm thinking I should have included a clip of this! Dagnabit. (I love that word)
This is a still for the Action Network ad's for the BBC. Mr Paul did them all by himself. The design is his too, based on the Action Network tree logo.

Captain Sarcastic

Here is a still from Captain Sarcastic. It was a short made by Mr Peter in our studio with the help from Mr Tim. This was made in Flash before we started using it widely.
